Jessica Tillings is a poet, visual artist & novice lepidopterist based in Lancashire
Currently, she is undertaking entomological and ecological research for a collection of poetry as part of her Masters at Lancaster University.
Most recently, she assisted on an Arts Council England funded re-imagining of Henrik Ibsen's Hedda Gabler with Cut to the Chase productions, starring David Hoyle, which premiered in 2022 at the Soho Theatre, London.
Previously, she was Creative Editor for MAI: Feminism & Visual Culture & the Co-Chair of the gender & sexuality research group GenSex. Additionally, she has acted as Editorial Assistant for The Wolf, & founded & managed the interdisciplinary performance series Reverb.
Her work has appeared in EPIZOOTICS!, Blackbox Manifold, HVTN, Guttural, MAI: Feminism & Visual Culture, SPAM Zine, The Wolf, Zarf, & DATABLEED.
Jessica was the winner of the 2016 Rhiannon Evans Poetry Prize & 2017 Eileen Davis Prize.
